What you will do
At Brite, you will be a key driver in our exciting QA Left-Shift journey, joining our highly skilled QA team. This senior role is critical in evolving our quality culture, moving quality ownership closer to the developers. We take accountability for the overarching QA and Test strategy, toolset, and processes, and focus heavily on empowering our Engineering teams to own their quality work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and actively participating in the company's shift-left QA and test transformation. Together with your fellow QA teammates, you will evolve our QA and test strategies, test management, and the testing tools and frameworks needed to deliver high-quality products.
Acting as a quality coach and subject matter expert for one or multiple Engineering teams, supporting them as they mature in writing and executing unit, integration, and service tests. Your primary focus is on improving how the QA and Engineering teams collaborate to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
Owning and executing complex end-to-end (E2E) tests and other quality verification activities that span multiple engineering teams and services.
Improving our Reporting and Monitoring tools for engineering and QA, sharing responsibility with other engineers to ensure visibility into our quality metrics and continuous improvement.

This role is about quality assurance and empowering our development teams.
You are a QA professional with a solid technical background in modern testing and quality practices. You have experience from managing, mentoring, and facilitating quality collaborations between teams and departments. In the past, you have held roles such as QA Engineer, Test Lead, or Quality Advocate. You have experience collaborating in creating a Quality vision and communicating it to the relevant stakeholders. You are a QA expert at heart!
The ideal candidate has:
Proven experience in driving or actively participating in a QA/Test "Shift-Left" transformation.
Experience coaching or mentoring development teams in modern testing practices (e.g., unit, integration, and service testing).
Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex end-to-end test suites that span multiple services.
Experience in Test Automation and manual software testing.
Experience with Cypress or any other relevant modern automation tool.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Deep knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, methods, and techniques.
5+ year of professional work experience.
Good to have experience
Experience from working in a micro service architecture
Experience with Postman, Charles
Experience with Python
Experience implementing quality gates or CI/CD pipeline automation.
